Modern client experience
Room-first interfaces, clearer navigation, cross-platform foundations, and familiar Palace interaction where compatibility allows.
DOOR 03 / Responsible Future
Build what comes next.
A future that remembers where it came from. The New Door is where Avatar Palace experiments. History, dignity, privacy, consent, creativity, and community safety remain the constraints—not obstacles to be removed.
What this door means
New tools should make Palace easier to enter, create in, maintain, and understand. That can include better client experiences, stronger server foundations, accessible guidance, room and prop tools, compatibility work, and carefully bounded automation.
New does not mean careless. Privacy, consent, provenance, safety, accessibility, and human responsibility remain design constraints.
Directions for the future
Room-first interfaces, clearer navigation, cross-platform foundations, and familiar Palace interaction where compatibility allows.
Stronger hosting foundations, clearer connection paths, and operational work that stays private until it is appropriate to publish.
Better ways to create, organize, preserve, and experience rooms, props, scripts, events, and community-made work.
Clearer explanations, keyboard and touch support, readable layouts, and tools that reduce barriers without unnecessary data collection.
Automation or AI may assist with explanation, organization, creative support, or moderation research—but never replace human accountability.
New work should respect classic Palace culture, historical evidence, attribution, and the ability to keep older experiences understandable and usable.
What we will not compromise
Status discipline
Ideas or work described on this page—including client, server, room systems, AI-assisted, automation, and moderation-support directions—should not be treated as public features unless a current project-status page explicitly identifies them as available.
Keep all three responsibilities in view
