Public project view
Building Avatar Palace
Some doors are open now. Others are still being built. This page separates available community access from private Client work, future server foundations, and ongoing preservation.
Public website status: live
Original project illustration · not infrastructure topology
A central arched threshold connects to four abstract points representing the Client, current community, future server foundation, and preservation. It communicates public project relationships without revealing technical infrastructure.
Private early alpha
New Avatar Palace Client
In developmentA new Avatar Palace Client exists as a private early-alpha project in development. It is being designed around a room-first Palace feel, accessibility, modern desktop systems, and future cross-platform support.
There is no public download and no public live Palace connectivity through the new Client yet. Features, plans, and direction may change as the work continues.
The new Client is not available for public download or community testing.
Available now
Current community connection
Available nowThe current Avatar Palace community can be reached with a compatible Palace client through chat.avatarpalace.net:9999, subject to normal availability and without an uptime guarantee.
Special thanks to thepalace.app for providing the current community server while Avatar Palace develops its self-hosted server foundation.
Avatar Palace is independently operated. This acknowledgement does not imply ownership, endorsement, partnership, or organizational affiliation.
Future foundation
Self-hosted Avatar Palace server
In developmentAvatar Palace is developing a self-hosted server foundation. It is not a public connection, has no public experience to enter, and is not open for testing.
No launch date or ETA is promised. Private addresses, credentials, security details, infrastructure topology, milestones, and exploit-relevant information are not published here.
Active work
Website and public discovery
Available nowThe website is being shaped around public discovery, accessibility, history, community, privacy, and a clear path into the current Palace experience.
The public website is live and may continue to evolve. Public wording and hierarchy can still change, and no accessibility conformance is claimed.
Continuity
Preservation and history
OngoingRooms, artwork, props, scripts, documents, stories, and community memory require evidence, permission, context, and care. Preservation should keep the living tradition accessible without pretending the record is complete.
Development conversation
Community members can help shape the work.
A forum named building-avatar-palace exists inside the Avatar Palace Discord community for existing community members.
No public Discord invite is available here, so this website does not present a Discord join button. Everyone can still share thoughts through The Listening Room or the existing public Facebook page.
